When Alleguard began a period of significant expansion in 2020—acquiring multiple companies and plants across the United States and Mexico—our collaboration became even more essential, ensuring all operations were brought under a unified, secure IT infrastructure.

Alleguard is a privately held industrial corporation headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. The company brings together six legacy foam and insulation brands, offering custom EPS, EPP, and ARCEL foam solutions for packaging, building products, cold chain, and industrial applications. With 18 manufacturing centers across North America, Alleguard continues to grow through strategic acquisitions and operational excellence.
Meeting the Demands of Fast-Paced Growth
Starting in November 2020, Alleguard’s acquisition strategy brought together ten plants from three companies, soon followed by five more acquisitions. This rapid growth created a need for a common, secure, and integrated IT model—requiring seamless harmonization of applications, hardware, networks, and standards, all delivered with both virtual and on-site support as needed.

“Alleguard is a medium-sized privately held industrial corporation formed in 2020. Starting in November 2020 when the corporation bought three companies containing ten plants scattered across the Eastern part of the United States and Mexico, the corporation has continued to grow its footprint with subsequent acquisitions of five more companies and related plants. All this growth required a common, secure, integrated IT infrastructure to unify what was essentially local business IT infrastructure into a cohesive corporate IT model.
To provide this critical backbone, the corporation has been engaged with MobileIT for the past five years. In conjunction with a very small internal staff working closely with MobileIT, we have successfully and significantly scaled the business.
As the business has grown, MobileIT has been provided the additional coverage each of our newly acquired plants required. Applications, hardware, network, domains, and standards have been harmonized over relatively short periods of time. Our migration from multiple to one set of standards went well and there were few issues. MobileIT’s distributed work force allows us at times to choose between virtual and actual physical support for various projects we undertake.
Lastly, MobileIT has been side by side with us in our efforts to address an increasingly challenging and threatening cybersecurity environment. We have benefitted from MobileIT’s experience serving numerous companies in different industries whose cybersecurity threats may differ from ours. Not only do we have a partnership which provides a highly reliable, consistent IT backbone, but MobileIT and our small team get ahead of things through planning and implementation of better or best practices others are doing which benefit our corporation.”
